In October 2011, Belinda acquired The Creature Teacher, LLC, and has since nurtured its growth and success over the past 12 years. As the business expanded, her role evolved with the addition of new instructors, though you might still find her leading a library event or school program.
Belinda earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Midwestern State University. After 15 years in the medical field, she shifted her focus to education. A pivotal moment in her career was her role as the Nature Center Coordinator at Sky Ranch in Van, TX, where she discovered her passion for animals. She realized that students grasp life science more effectively when they can interact with live animals, making learning both engaging and fun.
Belinda and her family are devoted animal lovers, eager to share their deep appreciation for these remarkable creatures and the positive impact they have on the environment.
