How does it work?
- After filling out a contact us form on our website, one of our helpful scheduling staff will respond to assist in finding the perfect date and time on our schedule
- Once on our schedule, you will receive a confirmation email. This email will have a “choose animals” option where animals can be then be selected.
- Plan the party! We suggest scheduling our program to start at least 30 minutes after the beginning of your event.
- On the day of the program, guests can be seated in a horseshoe shape and our instructor will stand in the middle for the presentation. All guests will be able to carefully pet the animals, one at a time. The birthday boy or girl will be the only one that is allowed to hold each animal.
- Feel free to take as many pictures as you would like, just don’t forget to tag us!
Are programs done indoors or outdoors?
Safety is our first priority, so we would never subject our animals to a harmful situation. Just like humans, our animals are not always comfortable with every passing season. Reptiles are not safe in the cold and many of our mammals are extremely heat sensitive. All programs from mid-May through mid-September must be indoors. When planning an outdoor program, we recommend having an alternate indoor location as a back-up. Animal safety is the responsibility of our instructor, so animals will never be brought out if conditions are not suitable.
What is the best age for live animal birthday programs?
All ages love animals! Children under age 3 will not be allowed to touch the animals, therefore we recommend ages 3 and up for our parties. Age 5 an up are ideal. Our oldest birthday boy was 81.
