Our School Programs

More Than a Mobile Petting Zoo

We bring wildlife into the classroom with educational class programs that align with Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) standards. Our hands-on sessions support science lessons and engage students of all ages with real-life animal interactions.

We do have many options. We can structure a program to fit your budget and educational goals. The Creature Teacher programs are listed below:

Single Programs – These 30, 45, or 60-minute sessions work best for one or two grade levels, with groups of up to 100 students. While we can present to larger audiences, smaller groups allow for better engagement.

Multiple Programs – Ideal for the whole school, this option provides grade-level presentations throughout the day. One instructor leads sessions, adjusting content to match TEKS standards. Many schools schedule these during the Specials Period for convenience.

STEAM Team – Multiple instructors present different programs in separate locations, allowing students to rotate through sessions lasting 15 to 45 minutes. Topics may include habitats or animal groups, creating an engaging and hands-on learning experience for any grade level.

STEM Camp – A full-day, on-campus science experience for 3rd grade and up. Students engage in hands-on activities like water experiments, live animal interactions, and team-building exercises. Each camp is customized to fit your school’s educational goals.

Education Station – A hands-on, interactive booth where students and families can meet animals up close. Perfect for Science Nights, STEM events, and fundraisers, guests can pet a kangaroo, see giant snakes, and explore fascinating creatures.

Conservation Presentation with Dezzi, the Sloth! – Students discover why rainforests matter and meet incredible animals that live there. Dezzi the sloth is the star, but she’ll bring some rainforest friends along for an unforgettable experience.
