Summer Reading Programs

Library Summer Reading Program 2025 flyer for Color our World

Exciting library programs are coming this summer! From North Texas to Houston, join Ms. Emiley, Mr. Rick, or Ms. Amanda for a fun, hands-on wildlife adventure featuring amazing animals. Don’t miss this unforgettable experience!

Each year, libraries across the state offer wildlife education programs for libraries as part of their library programs. These wildlife library programs feature live animal presentations, storytellers, magicians, and other fun events to keep kids engaged and reading. Designed for kids and teens, these free programs help prevent the “summer slide” and offer exciting activities and prizes each week.

Librarians turn to The Creature Teacher® to bring excitement and education to their libraries. Our programs make learning fun, engaging, and memorable for visitors of all ages. This year’s sessions will be full of amazing animals and hands-on experiences!

Visit your local library in Dallas/Fort Worth, East Texas, or the Houston area to check when The Creature Teacher will be there. Ask your librarian about sign-ups, or scroll down for upcoming dates and locations.

Our live animal presentations are exciting and educational! Seating is limited and fills up fast, so arrive early to get a great spot.

We look forward to seeing you this summer!
